Congratulations to Our Newest CPM Members

At our luncheon yesterday, the Chapter installed the following new Certified Property Managers:
1) Scott Doksansky of Melaver, Inc.
2) Denise Haffenden of Haffenden & Associates
3) Steve Houlder of the GSA
4) Bobby Parillo of istar Financial
Chapter President-Elect Betsy Bullard, CPM of CB Richard Ellis performed the official installation.
These individuals have worked very hard to earn the CPM designation and the Chapter congratulates them on this achievement.

Our featured speaker will be State Senator Chip Rogers (R-21) who'll speak about illegal immigration.We'll be giving out our annual awards and thanking our 2006 volunteers.
Each attendee will receive a raffle ticket for special prizes. Members who bring a guest or another member who hasn't been to any Chapter events in 2006 will receive a second chance to win.
If you're a CPM or ARM, be sure to wear your pin. We'll be drawing names for a cash prize and the first member whose name is drawn and is wearing his/her pin will win the cash.

About our presenter: Melody Burgess Poetzsch is Vice President of Asset Management with SunAmerica Affordable Housing Partners in Charlotte, NC for the past seven years. For the previous four years she was a Regional Manager with Metric Realty Services and earlier served in similar capacities with Chartwell Properties and Crosland Erwin Associates. Ms. Poetzsch has been active in professional associations for many years, having served on the board of directors of the Charlotte Apartment Association (and elected to the Education Hall of Fame), on the accreditation board of the National Apartment Association, and on the Charlotte Historic District Commission (serving also as its chairman). A Certified Property Manager and Certified Property Supervisor, Ms. Poetzsch has been a certified North Carolina Real Estate Instructor. She holds a BS degree from the University of Maryland.
